"PLAN A, PLAN B" On the circuit, Billy Taylor, President of GBU, has been encouraging student-athletes to pursue parallel career planning tracks. " All student - athletes dream of playing in the pros, but few actually have the dream come true."
"If playing in the pros is your Plan A," said Dr.Taylor," be smart... create a Plan B, something to fall back on in case Plan A collapses." Even if you are one of the chosen few to play pro sports," you can't play forever. Take advantage of the academic opportunities your school offers, as well as the athletics.
My academic pursuits have carried me through when the football days were over."
